This notice explains how we collect, use, and share information. It’s general info, not legal advice.

1) What we collect

  • Account & newsletter data: email address, name (optional), subscription preferences.
  • Supporter/payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly; we receive limited information (e.g., amount, status, timestamps, last-4) and your email to manage receipts, perks, and account status.
  • Site analytics: Ghost’s built-in, cookie-free analytics (powered by Tinybird) provide aggregated metrics (e.g., page views, referrers) without tracking cookies.
  • Communications: messages you send us and replies to the newsletter.
  • Optional submissions: survey responses, prompt ideas, or other content you choose to share.

We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13. This site is for adults.

2) How we use data

  • Deliver the newsletter and administrative emails (confirmations, service notices).
  • Manage one-time tips and recurring support tiers, issue receipts, and deliver perks.
  • Improve content using aggregate analytics (e.g., what gets read or clicked).
  • Provide support and respond to messages.
  • Comply with legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.

3) Your choices (email & opt-out)

Every email includes a working unsubscribe link and our mailing address. You can change preferences or unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails.

4) Payments & security

Payments are handled by Stripe; we don’t store full card numbers. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. For details on how Stripe processes data, refer to Stripe’s privacy documentation.

5) Cookies & analytics

We use Ghost’s cookie-free analytics and do not run third-party ad trackers. If we add tools that set cookies (e.g., ad networks, A/B testing), we’ll update this policy and, where required, present consent/opt-out.

Where GDPR applies, we process your data based on: consent (newsletters), contract (supporter tiers), and legitimate interests (privacy-respecting analytics and service improvement). You may withdraw consent at any time.

Your rights (where applicable): access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection/restriction in certain cases. To exercise rights, email admin@mindovermoney.ai with “Privacy Request.”

7) California privacy (CPRA/CCPA)

California residents may request access, deletion, or correction and can ask whether we sell or share personal information (we do not). You may also designate an authorized agent. To submit a request, email admin@mindovermoney.ai with “California Privacy Request.” We won’t discriminate for exercising rights.

8) Children’s privacy

We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we’ll delete it.

9) Data retention

We keep newsletter/account data while you’re subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward for records/compliance. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting laws.

10) Sharing

We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the service (e.g., Ghost/Tinybird analytics, Stripe payments, email delivery). We require processors to safeguard data and use it only per our instructions.

11) International transfers

Where cross-border transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., DPAs and standard contractual measures) with our processors.

12) Changes

We’ll update this policy when practices or laws change. We’ll post the new date and, if material, notify subscribers in the newsletter.
